RUDE BOY ORIGINAL NEVILLE STAPLE VISITS BEDFORD THIS WEEKEND

He is the original rude boy, and he is heading our way!

Neville Staple, singer and toaster in Two Tone aces The Specials will be live at Bedford Corn Exchange on Saturday (April 25).

He has been booked up by The Pad Presents and tops the bill for their annual St George's Day bash.

Ticket holders will have their ears wowed by classic tracks including A Message to you Rudy, Monkey Man and Ghost Town, but the hits won't start and stop there.

He was also a founding member of The Fun Boy Three, the mob which followed The Specials, and kept on with the chart-bothering singles.

We have it on good authority that Neville will also rework some original Jamaican ska classics and cut loose some brand new material.

Special guests at the event are Ruts DC, and DJ Andy Attic from Club Ska Sound System will pick up where the live music leaves off in the main auditorium, while in Room 2, DJ's Hammy & Geoff will be charged with delivering the best in Northern and Classic Soul through to 1am.

Tickets are on sale at £20 and doors open at 7.30pm.
