STANTONBURY ARTS & LEISURE - FORTY YEARS OLD AND DEFINITELY FABULOUS

Stantonbury Arts & Leisure didn't let this morning's (Saturday) downpour affect their party atmosphere - after all, it's not every day you turn 40 years-old, and rain wasn't about to put the dampers on their celebratory party. Families visited the centre and enjoyed live performances from many of the Milton Keynes-based acts who have utilised the theatre's stage over the years - including Milton Keynes Amateur Operatic Society, promoting their forthcoming show Grease (17-21 June) and Yaw Asiyama. The venue also detailed its drama triumphs with an extensive timelines of events at the theatre - from its grand opening to the present time, and there was plenty of fun and games for little 'uns too - face painting included.
