Stevie Parker brings her spine-shivering qualities to Bedford Esquires this week

Bristol-based intellectual singer/songwriter Stevie Parker delivers a unique take on ambient electronic pop, with a rich, intricately layered sound and hauntingly beautiful voice.

Her intelligent and revealing lyrics resonate deeply are incredibly emotionally charged - and she is bringing those lyrics and sounds to Bedford Esquires this Saturday (Feb 11).

Stevie is already turning heads. Her debut single Never Be was a beautifully composed, flaunting display of keys/synths, drums and guitar lines that seamlessly merge together before shimmering to a whole new level with Parker’s breath-taking vocal harmonies.

It has the uncanny spine shivering qualities that The xx coined on their self-titled record, pointing comparisons of Daughter, Portishead, and Hannah Reid (London Grammar), but Parker’s dynamic range and sincere lyricism makes her one to watch out for.

The video for new tack Without You is available now.

Half of her new record, due for release in May 2017, was written with and drummed by Stella from Warpaint.

Special guest support at the show comes from Elijah Miller & Paul John Bailey.
