Biking Santas get in the saddle to spread goodwill in Milton Keynes

Traditionally he uses a sleigh to get about, but when Santa (and some lookalike pals) wanted to make a special Christmas Eve visit to some deserving families in Milton Keynes, he decided it would be quicker with some added v-v-vroom ...and went by bike!

In truth, these Santas belong to the Milton Keynes charity Ride2Give which helps those with illness or disability, and people struggling with financial hardship.

Steve Woods, Big Jay and Steve Martin founded the charity a couple of years ago and have since raised thousands of pounds to help people in need.

In the past Gemma Louise Wilks and her family have supported Ride2Give, but this Christmas they were among those visited by the men in red.

Two months ago, Gemma's husband, Keith, was admitted to hospital with a life threatening condition.

While he is thankfully now in recovery, he is currently unable to work, which means added financial strain at the most difficult time of year.

“They support lots of families throughout the year including ours,” Gemma told Total MK, “On Christmas Eve they brought over presents for our boys Owain and Finlay and they also dropped in a shopping voucher as we have been struggling slightly.

“They truly are angels and have given us light,” Gemma added.
