Boooom Fest is a new quarterly film Festival recently launched by EpicTV in association with Polk Boom, which aims to unearth the very best in short action and adventure films.
Amateur and professional filmmakers were encouraged to submit their sixty-second BMXing, climbing, kayaking, mountain biking, skateboarding, skiing and snowboarding films as well as BASE and wingsuit flying videos. One of the current crop of entries captures a number of prominent UK freeskiers at work here in Milton Keynes - at the Sno!zone in Xscape.

Entries to the first ever Boooom Fest have just closed and those submitted are now being reviewed by an expert panel including Epic TV's Alan Sim, Ann Derry, The New York Times’ editorial director of video partnerships and Nike’s New York brand communications director, David Reti amongst other influential industry figures.
The festival will conclude with VIP screenings in both London and Chamonix, attended by media and industry experts.
