CASINO CELEBRATES NEW HEIGHTS ON ITS FIRST BIRTHDAY

The Casino MK celebrated its first birthday this month and marked the occasion by playing host to the UKs most extreme game of zip wire roulette!  Visitors to the Super Casino were given the opportunity to zip wire from the top of the Xscape building to a giant roulette wheel, for just £5. More than 200 people took on the roulette raising in excess of £800 for The Aspinall Foundation conservation charity. Olympic badminton medallist Gail Emms MBE was one of the participants. "I never thought I'd zip wire from the top of the Xscape building," she said. "I was shaking; it was such an adrenaline rush!" Assistant general manager at The Casino MK, Luke Perkins, also took part: "The zip wire roulette was a fantastic event and raised an incredible donation for a cause close to our hearts. "Being the largest Casino outside of London, we had to go bigger and better than ever when it came to celebrating our first birthday. "We hope everyone enjoyed taking part as much as we enjoyed playing host to the extreme zip wire event," he said. "These celebrations, and what we have achieved in the past year, have cemented our reputation as one of the region's leading entertainment destinations." Luke also announced that 20 new jobs are being created at The Casino MK in the coming months, as a direct result of the successful first 12 months of operation. Gail 1
