Head down to Brewhouse & Kitchen in Milton Keynes today to support local Veteran charities

Last month, Brewpub group Brewhouse and Kitchen hosted the UK's first Veteran Brew Day across the nation, inviting local veterans to come and brew a unique commemorative beer, in time for the 100th anniversary of Armistice Day.

Each beer was unique to the site it was brewed and Brewhouse & Kitchen are ready to unveil the hard work of local Veterans this Thursday, releasing a new veteran-brewed  warming Dark Ale in Milton Keynes for a limited time only, with each pint sold resulting in a donation to the pub's chosen Veteran charity.

The event, which will take place today across 20 Brewhouse & Kitchen sites nationwide, invites the community to try the beer and join the tapping party fun.

All are invited to come and sample some tasters and watch the Veteran brewed beer being ‘tapped'.

The beer will be available during November and most notably in time for the Armistice Centenary on Sunday.

Gail Bunn, marketing manager of Brewhouse and Kitchen, said: “We wanted to play our part in the centenary celebrations, and what better way than to brew a unique beer for this once in a lifetime event.

"We hope it brings communities, veterans, and those with a connection to our armed forces together to remember and celebrate this particularly special Armistice Day.”
