Following a Thames Valley Police investigation, a man has been jailed for drug offences in Milton Keynes.

Ben Abdul Karim Hassan, aged 19, of no fixed abode, was convicted and sentenced at Aylesbury Crown Court on Monday (April 20).

Hassan pleaded guilty to two counts of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A, heroin and cocaine.

He was sentenced to 30 months’ detention in a young offender’s institution.

The charges relate to an incident at 4.10pm on 27 February this year, when police officers stopped a vehicle in Marlborough Street.

Hassan was found to be in possession of a quantity of heroin and cocaine.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Sebastian Kuzoe said: “Ben Abdul Karim Hassan was found to be in possession of Class A drugs.

“He was looking to profit from the possession and supply of drugs within the community, but has now admitted to those offences and will serve a sentence in a young offender’s institution to reflect on his actions.
