The emotional event saw speeches from the High Sheriff of Buckinghamshire, the Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire and Mayor of MK.

The programme was led by Michael Gurner - The Milton Keynes Celebrant and featured the reflective poem Loss in Solitude by The Bard of Buckingham.
Musica Charity Choir Milton Keynes were among those bringing song to the evening.

Bereaved families were then accompanied to the Milton Keynes Rose for a two minute silence and a wreath laying at the Covid-19 pillar.

Debbie Lewis - who lost her father in the pandemic - organised Candlelight4Covid to allow people to come together to pay their respects to loved ones.
Debbie has also set up a national support group for those who have been bereaved.
