NEWS: Staff threatened with knife during robbery at Co-op store in Newport Pagnell

Police have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to following a robbery in Newport Pagnell.

At around 7.30pm on November 1, a man entered a Co-op store in Wordsworth Avenue and took a number of bottles of alcohol and confectionary.

When he was confronted and blocked from the exit by staff members, he threatened them with a knife.

The offender then left the store and got into a small hatchback car parked near to the Dove Public House.

The man in the CCTV image may have vital information about this investigation.

Investigating officer detective constable Greg Hughes said: “This was a very distressing incident for the members of staff who were threatened with a knife during this robbery.

“We would like to speak to the man pictured in this CCTV image, as we think he may have vital information to help with this investigation.

“If you know who the person pictured is, or this is you, please get in touch with police quoting the reference ‘43180334271’”.
