Saxon Clinic gets frothy at the World's Biggest Coffee Morning

Staff at BMI The Saxon Clinic in Milton Keynes have raised £288.09 for Macmillan Cancer Care by taking part in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.

Altogether, around 200 patients and visitors to the hospital in Chadwick Drive enjoyed a slice of cake and a hot drink, and shared some time together to enjoy each other’s company.

Last year BMI Hospitals raised just under £12,000 for Macmillan through the sale of cakes and drinks and organiser of the Saxon Clinic coffee morning Emma Stones said she was delighted with how our team pulled together to add to this year’s total.

Hospital executive director Moira Stokoe said: “I’d like to thank our patients, visitors, staff, Consultants and our excellent fundraising team for the camaraderie and, of course, the cake! Every day we see people who have been touched by cancer, and we see how difficult it is sometimes to cope with the disease. Macmillan Cancer Care is doing an incredible job, and we are pleased to support their work.”

BMI The Saxon Clinic is part of BMI Healthcare, the UK’s largest network of private hospitals with 59 centres in England, Scotland and Wales.
