UPDATED: Heavy police presence after incident in Bletchley

A heavy police presence remains in Bletchley's Queensway, with at least four police cars, one police van and an ambulance in attendance.

Shoppers have seen police restrain at least one man on the ground.

"I heard a police car go past while I was shopping, but didn't give it a second thought, but when I came back out onto the street, there was a big commotion going on," one witness told Total MK, "It is quite unnerving to be honest.  Hopefully everything is ok."

Thames Valley Police said: "At around 13.50pm this afternoon officers were called to Queensway in Bletchley to a fear for welfare of a man. This was resolved safely."
