Willen Hospice gives everyone a free card to act silly for the month, with its Wacky for Willen campaign, Dara O'Briain brings the funnies to town, and MK’s folk rock stalwarts, Togmor celebrate their 30th anniversary with a big bash in the city.

The band formed in 1988 to do a single pub gig, but enjoyed playing so much that they carried on; first treading the boards on the local pub circuit before moving on to larger and more prestigious shows.

Front man, and founder of the band, Ian Rowe, said: “We are delighted to have gone the distance and have remained good friends with all previous band members.
“Togmor 30 will feature previous line ups, some archive material that hasn’t been played for many years and feature previous members and guests that have travelled from as far away as Canada to be there with us’.

Jump-up folk pioneers forest of fools are back home in the Keynes, and ready to unleash their marvellous mish-mash of styles on home soil. The fellas hit The Stables, delivering music lifted from their lauded long-player Forsooth, which even got BBC Radio 6 music man Stuart Maconie all excited.

Black Eyed Peas wrap up their UK tour with a date at the Marshall Arena in Bletchley, and BEP's Taboo speaks with us at length about health, politics, and how the band is bringing their noise.

"Let's party and have a good time like only Black Eyed Peas know how to do, but let's have a reality check and do it in a way where we can unite, and lead people in the direction of a frequency of positivity," he told Sammy Jones.

MK's Ryker Sear, the rock band turned pop duo of Regan Vincenza and James Torselli, unveil their nostalgic, 80s infused new single Piece of Me.

Front woman Regan Vincenza wrote the track after watching the film, Like Crazy, as aspects of the film reminded her of a lost love.
''It took me right back to a place that I hadn't wanted to think about," she said.

"The first part of the song I wrote was the line, 'can you take a piece of me, a memory or two, ones that hurt the most when I start to think of you' - the core of the song being that you don't actually want to forget an incredible time in your life, but you don't want it to hurt as much when you think about it'."

centre:mk is ranked in the top 10 listing of shopping centres in the UK, and Rock heavies Rammstein will play Stadium MK in 2019.

The date, on July 6, will be the band's only UK show as part of an extensive European stadium tour.
