Disgusting times ahead at Milton Keynes Theatre

If it wasn’t for the fact that everyone who could tell us what really happened in years gone by were dead, we’d all be top of the class in history lessons.

So, in the absence of a time machine to transport us back there or teleportation technology to conv ey our ancestors here the next best thing is to come along to Milton Keynes Theatre to see two Horrible Histories performed live on stage.

Using actors and ground-breaking 3D special effects, Terrible Tudors and Awful Egyptians are two amazing Birmingham Stage Company shows that are guaranteed to thrill you and your children.

From the horrible Henries to the end of evil Elizabeth, hear the legends (and the lies!) about the torturing Tudors.

Find out the fate of Henry's headless wives and his punch up with the Pope.

Meet Bloody Mary and see Ed fall dead in his bed. Survive the Spanish Armada as it sails into the audience!

Heading back further in time, from the fascinating Pharaohs to the power of the pyramids, discover the foul facts of death and decay with the meanest mummies in Egypt. Are you ready to rumble with Ramesses the Great?

Dare you enter through the Gates of the Afterlife? It’s the history of Egypt with the nasty bits left in! See historical figures come alive and hover at your fingertips and let your kids enjoy lashings of silly slapstick while they learn, ready to smash the next round of the Key Stage SATs.

Horrible Histories will disgust (and entertain) you next Wednesday (July 10) to Saturday (July 13).
