Stage Experience presents Little Shop of Horrors at Milton Keynes Theatre

Milton Keynes Theatre has partnered with theatre arts production company Vivo D’arte for another Stage Experience: Little Shop of Horrors.

Leading cast includes: Alfie Glasser (Seymour), Caitlyn Allen (Audrey), Luke Canavan (Mr Mushnik), Nathaniel Thomas (Orin Scrivello), Chris Gannon (Audrey II), Natasha Holland (Ronnette), Tia Antoine Charles (Crystal) and Chenise Trantum (Chiffon).

With a cast of over 60, aged 10 to 25 from the local area, Stage Experience provides an opportunity for young people to come together with a professional team to create high quality theatre.

Performing on the main stage at Milton Keynes Theatre in a full-scale production with live orchestra, professional lighting and sound, set, costumes, hair and makeup will make it an experience not to be missed.

It’s not just about being on stage - the memories and new friendships made, and not to mention the skills learnt and the confidence built, will make Stage Experience something special for everyone involved.

This is Milton Keynes Theatre’s seventh Stage Experience production – previous shows include West Side Story, Guys and Dolls, Footloose, The Wiz, Fame and Bugsy Malone.

Little Shop of Horrors is a deviously delicious Broadway and Hollywood sci-fi smash musical, which has devoured the hearts of theatre goers for more than 30 years.

The meek floral assistant Seymour Krelborn stumbles across a new breed of plant he names “Audrey II” - after his co-worker crush.

This foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivore promises unending fame and fortune to the down and out Krelborn as long as he keeps feeding it, BLOOD. Over time, though, Seymour discovers Audrey II’s out of this world origins and intent towards global domination!

The production will be on stage between Thursday and Saturday (August 9 to 11)
