Calling retro and handcrafted fans: The Handmade & Vintage Fair is back in Milton Keynes

The much anticipated return of MK Handmade & Vintage Fairs, is nigh - it returns for its autumn event on September 8 and 9.

The huge Middleton Hall in front of John Lewis at centre:mk is transformed into a huge treasure trove of 128 indoor market stalls, all hosting hand-picked exhibitors.

It's a paradise for lovers of the unique and unusual, crammed with an eclectic mix of thousands of high quality handcrafted and vintage, retro and antique bargains. Every item is a one-off and no retail items are permitted, making it the perfect alternative to high street shopping.

This indoor pop-up handmade & vintage bazaar has a reputation as one of the best markets in the country.

Inviting some of the region's most original and affordable, designer-makers, artists and specialist dealers, you'll find an eclectic mix of thousands of special high quality goodies ‘not on the high street’.

To give you a small taster for September, there will be a variety of interior design pieces fresh from the brocants of Europe, from the weird and wonderful to the timeworn and chic.

Organisers have restored jukeboxes and record players, vintage clothing and accessories, unusual jewellery (both handmade and vintage), dressmakers, milliners, our own tailor, original art and photography, collectible handmade teddy bears, quirky upcycled lamps, natural luxury skincare, music and car memorabilia, unusual tiles and coasters, personalised gifts embroidered while you wait, vintage fabrics and antique linens, collectibles, antiques, furniture, glass, china/ceramics, and much, much more.

And customers are invited to commission bespoke items for that extra special gift!

Remember, it is worth taking a break from the shopping to try out the amazing handmade cakes, brownies, pickles and other treats.

After the September event, the Handmade & Vintage Fair returns for its winter special between November 2 & 4.
