Camphill Milton Keynes Communities open doors for craft fair

Camphill MK Communities will host a Craft, Art & Food Fair on Saturday (November 9) in Willen Park South.

In support of a vibrant community providing a meaningful working life for adults with learning disabilities, they will open their doors to the wider community to celebrate craft, art and food created by its talented residents and local makers and crafters.

Hosted inside their expansive community theatre Chrysalis, the mostly indoor event will showcase their very own artisan baked goods, preserves, honey, cordials and vinegars – with ingredients harvested from their gardens – as well as traditional textiles, unique one-off art & craft items.

The perfect opportunity to make a start of festive shopping and to shop local, eat local and meet local!

Expect street food vendors, craft gin, curry pastes, chutneys, preserves, soaps, candles, textiles, upcycled wood, garden grafts, jewellery, festive gifts, plus the community’s own Art Fair.

A selection of street-food will also be available outside on the grounds providing delicious, locally made and sourced eats.

Entertainment will come courtesy of local musicians, who will be revealed on the day.

All funds raised will go back into the vibrant charitable community that supports adults with learning disabilities and those who support them.
