Comedy: A triple-treat of the funnies stack up at the Casino MK

The Official Comedy Club returns to The Casino MK on Thursday (June 15).

Shake off the hum-drum of the da, settle back and let a trio of cracking comedians from the UK circuit make you smile.

James Redmond is your host.  You'll maybe know him from Emmerdale, Hollyoaks or Casualty.  He's a proper actor fella too, you see.

James is a dry, slick and subtle stand up who delivers unexpected twists and turns during his set as he deconstructs his art.

Mandy Muden is your opening comedian
"Hi, I'm Mandy - and I do tricks!" is how the one and only Mandy introduces herself.

She has been described as “Alison Steadman playing a beauty consultant doing Tommy Cooper-style magic – but without the fez," and she loves the description.

With an act made for the digitally-enhanced age, Mandy has audiences astounded with both the brilliance of some (certainly not all) of her magic and in hysterics at her off-the-cuff one-liners and observations.

Junior Simpson (pic) is Thursday's bill-topper.  With his infectious energy and huge stage presence it is easy to see why Junior Simpson is a circuit favourite.

Simpson has a boundless joy and exuberance that has audiences hooked with hilarity.

A true observational comic, Simpson finds his humour in the everyday and humdrum with anecdotes of his world travels as a comedian adding a personal originality to his set. Although mischievous and daring, he steers clear of being  crass or crude and can tailor his set to suit any audience.

Junior is a regular headliner at clubs all over the UK and is also in great demand internationally performing as far afield as South Africa and Australia.  Come see what the fuss is all about at the Xscape venue.

Doors Open at 7pm.
