Eclectic and absorbing programme of classics at Milton Keynes Church

Trumpeter John MacDomnic and pianist Adrian Boynton will unit for a wonderfully eclectic and absorbing programme of 'classics' for trumpet, organ and piano at the Church of Christ the Cornerstone on Saturday morning (October 6).

Expect to hear works by Clarke, Marcello, Bozza, Chopin, Hummel, Hohne, Rachmaninov and Arban from 11.30am.

The 20 year musical partnership between John and Adrian has taken the duo all over the UK, but they love returning home to perform on 'home territory' at MK Citiy Church.

Admission is £10 (conc £9.50, children £1) on the door.

> Next Sunday (October 14) the Choir of the City Church will be directed by Adrian Boynton and led by the Reverend Wendy Carey when they host a Choral Evensong Celebration Special. The St Lukestide Service will be celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the NHS, featuring a repertoire from the 17th Century to the present day.

All are welcome, there will be a freewill offering and the show starts at 6pm.
