Get Christmas sorted in one go; Head to the Handmade & Vintage Fair this weekend

Christmas is edging nearer now, but if you are like us, you won’t have a clue what to buy for your nearest and dearest.

Soap on a rope and socks for him might seem like cliches, but come on, how many of you actually have popped in some tootsie warmers? Hmm…

If only there was an event that could replace the boring with the cool and unusual, where you could snap up a cool gift for everyone at the same time. And if the goods could be reasonably priced too, so much the better.

Actually there is - and your opportunity for shopping success presents itself this weekend, with the return of the Handmade & Vintage Fair at centre:mk.

Seriously, this could be your one stop shop for Crimbo 2016, which is priceless, right?

From handcrafted, unique, personalised items to pop under the Christmas tree, to unique Christmas cards and decorations and exquisite vintage designer dresses to wow with at the seasonal get-togethers, this event has it covered.

This is a ‘best of the best’ show boasting jewellers that sparkle, fabulous furniture and ceramic specialists, but there is much, much more - from a gents’ tailor to garden sculptures and crazy lamps to historical maps.
There’s an award-winning nature photographer, a coaster art stall, traditional brewer, toymakers and personalised soft furnishings, and ridiculous amounts more.

So far as the vintage side goes, it’s all about the quirky and the cool, as is traditional at this event, but it’s almost impossible to state what you’ll find because you really can expect the unexpected - from random vinyl records to antique dolls and long forgotten books, trinkets and antique items that you never expect to see!

Forget the High Street generic boredoms, and go search out the fresh and innovative instead, and you’ll have fun doing it. Plenty of stalls will personalise while you wait too.
The Handmade & Vintage Fair will lure you along this Saturday and Sunday (November 5 & 6) in Middleton Hall and admission is free.

Reach for the cash, and get ready to make a splash!
