HALF TERM: MEET PROFESSOR BEAMISH AT MK MUSEUM

If you want lots of fun for a bottom-line price, make a visit to MK Museum your priority this Half Term.

Youngsters are being actively encouraged to go wild at the Wolverton-based hub, thanks to the return of the Look at Life weekend.

On Saturday and Sunday (May 23 & 24) visitors will be able to get stuck into fascinating microscope safaris, go pond dipping for watery mini beasts and enjoy rambles along the nature trail.

There will be lots of demonstrations to enjoy too.

Enjoy the return of the brilliant magic lantern, and new this term, take a look at some intriguing optical toys.

Professor Beamish is back too, with plenty of science experiments - the sort you don't see in school!

Into the new week, when the Look at Life weekend is behind us, the museum presents plenty more fun in the Victorian schoolroom.  But maybe you will prefer taking in the music and games on offer in the farmhouse parlour?

Or the demonstrations in the Connected Earth gallery?

With so many activities to get stuck into, the family will work up quite a hunger.

Worry not, the tea room will be equipped with a fine selection of freshly prepared sandwiches, cakes and drinks.

Feed your family for less than a fiver a head.

Usual admission charges apply, but there are no additional costs for the great added activities. How about that!
