Help Hula to help Milton Keynes' less fortunate animals

A new year it might be, but sadly the same old problems persist for our charities locally. Like Hula Animal Rescue, based in Aspley Guise.

Hula does a wonderful job with the animals who wind up under its roof, perhaps because of neglect, or because a family has moved away, or simply because nobody wants them.

Hula's army of volunteers are great at giving cuddles and helping teach the animals to trust again, but they are still tasked with finding hard cash to cover the food, bedding and health care for the animals unlucky enough to be in its care.

And so the fundraising continues - this Sunday (Jan 15) the New Year Get Together is being hosted on site at Glebe Farm.

"Chase away the winter blues with a browse around the on-site shop and pet bed shed followed by some refreshments in the Hula Trough Cafe," invite organisers.
Entry is £2 for adults, free for kids and the event runs between between 1pm and 3.30pm.
