intu Milton Keynes launches free fitness to get MK ‘energised’

A new initiative to inspire people across Milton Keynes to get into shape launched last night (Thursday 18 January) at intu Milton Keynes.

The free 45-minute circuit-based class is designed for people of all fitness abilities to help kick-start a fitness goal for 2018.

In partnership and run by énergie Fitness, Milton Keynes, the new gym opening in Kiln Farm this spring, and Amazing CMK, the class will take place in the shopping centre every Thursday at 6pm and debuted in town last week.

“January is an ideal time of the year to start a new fitness goal, and we hope our free class will help to inspire people into fitness,” said general manager at intu Milton Keynes, Shelley Peppard.

She added, “The benefits of fitness physically and mentally can transform lives, make people more productive at work and ultimately give someone an improved feeling of happiness.”

The class will include a variety of fitness stations designed to target different areas of the body and together it will give an all body workout. “Participants will be able to go at a pace suitable to their level of fitness but, to achieve results, they will be gradually pushed to work hard,” said Personal Trainer and franchisee at énergie Fitness, Milton Keynes, Rob Francis.

The intu Milton Keynes free fitness class will take place inside the centre undercover between GAP and Hollister. For more information, email Milton.Keynes@energiefitness.com – spaces are limited.
