A charity concert is being held at the Church of Christ the Cornerstone this weekend, hosted by The Chernobyl Relief Foundation.
2016 marks the three decade anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster, and monies raised will contribute to a Christmas medical project for Chernobyl children at Zemlyaki in the Ukraine.
Cellist Svetlana Mochlova and pianist Slava Sidorenko will be playing material by Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Schumann, Glazunov and Rachmaninov.
Saturdays' (October 15) event will begin at 7.30pm and tickets are £12.50 (conc £12, children £2) by programme on the door.
