Milton Keynes Museum gears up for its annual Transport Weekend

Milton Keynes Museum will be driving car fans wild when its Transport Weekend returns this September 9 &10.

Its green space will be all revved up with more than 50 vehicles parked up on the Saturday, and close to 100 motors expected on the Sunday, as owners show off their four-wheeled pride and joy.

Bodywork will be polished to perfection, and customised motors will be causing a commotion among visitors.The two-day event will feature many vintage motors, and a few lorries will be on site, too.If you prefer to travel on two wheels, not four, there will be lots of gleaming bikes to catch the eye.

Museum director Bill Griffiths promises it will be a 'wheelie' lovely day out for all!“You really don't need to be a motoring enthusiast to be wowed by the display we have in store for you," he promised.“There will be some seriously impressive four wheelers to explore, and an opportunity to chat with their proud owners.

"All our usual Museum attractions will be open too, and you can grab a hot or cold snack in The Granary Tea Room, so be prepared to stay for a while!"

 

Standard admission applies - which will also give you FREE entry for the following 12 months; adults £15, child £10, concessions, £12.A family ticket (admitting two adults and up to four children) is £40.
