The serenity of the Cowper & Newton Museum calls this week, when the history hub opens its garden for refreshments on Thursday (August 6).
“While away your time in peace and tranquility or come to meet some similarly minded new friends,” invite organisers.
The morning session – running between 10.30am and midday – is open to all.
The £2.50 admission fee gives access to the gardens only, and includes tea and cake.
