PET BEHAVIOUR PROBLEMS ADDRESSED AT HULA'S SUMMER OPEN DAY

We are still recovering from the sight of so many beautiful bundles of fur at last month's Hula Animal Rescue Fete, but it's time to reconnect with out canine pals again this weekend - when the centre hosts its Summer Open Day.

Sunday's (June 14) date will include the Hula Dog Parade at 2.30pm and if your mutt is a little reluctant when it comes to training, take a look at Sky the Border Collie.

Sky is a perfectly behaved pooch, and will be demonstrating reward based training and how to have fun with your four-legged pal.

With summer approaching, it pays to be wise on the perils of the heat, and a talk, 'Caring for your animals in hot weather' will be given.

Oh, and we are always banging on about the importance of getting your animals microchipped, and at Hula on Sunday you'll be able to get your animals chipped on the day.

It's quick and painless, and can save a whole load of heartache if your animal should go missing.  Don't take chances - get it done.

Elsewhere, all the usual Hula attractions will figure - including the bazaar and refreshment stalls.

Admission is £2 for adults, kids go free at the bash, between 1 and 4pm.
