Ashley Blaker and Imran Yusuf are coming to The Stables with their new show, Prophet.
Two great religions. Two great comedians. The descendants of Abraham may have gone their separate ways but now stand-up comedian friends Ashley Blaker and Imran Yusuf – both stars of their own BBC shows – are joining forces in the most-unlikely double-act since Kermit and Miss Piggy (who neither Ashley and Imran can eat!)
Originally brought together by a passion for the same football team, the pair are travelling the UK uniting people of every faith and none for an evening of laughter.
Ashley Blaker is an incredibly gifted stand-up comedian. He has previously performed two sell-out tours of the UK (Ungefiltered and Meshuga Frum) to great acclaim and toured his comedy across Israel and South Africa.
He started his takeover of the USA with a sell-out show at New York's Gramercy Theatre and followed this with a five week Off-Broadway run at the Jerry Orbach Theater which was featured by both the New York Times and New York Post.
Imran Yusuf is renowned as a skilful raconteur who seamlessly weaves socio-political satire with heartfelt introspection in his charmingly endearing trademark styling. He has completed two UK tours with his solo shows An Audience with Imran Yusuf and Bring the Thunder.
Imran took his third solo show Roar of the Underdog to the Edinburgh festival in 2014 and took its sequel; Super Roar of the Underdog Turbo X: HD Remix to the Edinburgh Festival in 2015.
Ashley and Imran will be live at The Stables in Wavendon on June 19.
