'Shop local, eat local and meet local' invites Milton Keynes charity

In support of a vibrant community providing a meaningful working life for adults with learning disabilities, Camphill Milton Keynes Communities Ltd will host their Winter Artisan Food & Craft Fair on Saturday, November 10.

Hosted inside the specially built community theatre Chrysalis Milton Keynes, the indoor event will showcase their very own artisan baked goods, preserves, honey, cordials and vinegars, traditional textiles, and unique one-off art & craft items.

CMKC have invited a further 30 hand-selected local crafters, makers & artisans to join them.

Expect original photography, creative bakes, soaps, craft gin, upcycled wood, jewellery, festive gifts, curry pastes, chutneys, plus local art demos by MKSA, Christmas gifts and home and fashion accessories and creative gifts made in-house within the Camphill workshops.

“Camphill communities have proud roots in creativity, art, craft and drama and our interest in creating community is in our name.

"Our Artisan Food & Craft Fairs are an excellent opportunity to share our work, build relationships with fellow crafters from the local area and show off the creative skills of our residents and staff”. Tim Davies, CEO CMKC.

Refreshments will include freshly baked goods, and beverages, and local musical talents will perform.

All funds raised will go back into the vibrant charitable community.

If you're looking for a unique, locally made gifts and produce and want to meet local makers, crafters, artists and artisans, why not pop in and see what the vibrant community has to offer.

The event will run between 10am and 4pm, and entry is free.
