Stars announced for Milton Keynes Theatre - and NHS staff are gifted tickets

It might have been inevitable, but it was still a blow to see this year's pantomime at Milton Keynes Theatre cancelled because of the pandemic.

Instead of Diversity starring in Jack and the Beanstalk the theatre doors were set to remain closed, but thankfully the fairy godmother has waved her magic wand, and pantomime is coming to the theatre!

It will be different, and smaller, but socially-distanced performances of Sleeping Beauty are now set to bring some festive feel good to the town.

Lee Mead was a huge hit in last year's pantomime here, and fans will be thrilled to learn that he is returning for this production. Former Hear'say star turned actress Suzanne Shaw, magician Pete Firman and stage-star Claire Sweeney will join him.
