The Woodstock Experience features classics from the original festival line up including songs from Joe Cocker (With a Little Help From My Friends), Crosby, Stills & Nash (Marrakesh Express), The Who (My Generation), Santana (Evil Ways), The Band (The Weight), Sly & the Family Stone (Dance to the Music), Joan Baez (The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down), Creedence Clearwater Revival (Proud Mary), Jefferson Airplane (Somebody to Love), Grateful Dead (Truckin'), Jimi Hendrix (Purple Haze) and of course, Janis Joplin (Piece of my Heart) performed by singers and musicians straight from London’s West End including X Factor finalist Melanie Masson.
Melanie rose to fame on the X Factor with her spine tingling performance of Cry Baby and now has the honour of being endorsed by the Janis Joplin Estate who say ‘Impressive ... she does Janis justice!’
Woodstock was one of the most pivotal moments in music history so take a trip back and sing-a-long to some of the greatest music from the festival, including Bad Moon Rising, I Want to Take You Higher, America, Swing Low Sweet Chariot, Can't Explain and many more.
In addition to the great music, the show includes a backdrop of multi-media projection fusing together the music from Woodstock and some of the most seminal political and cultural events of the 1960's!
