STONY WORDS: The King's Courtesans and the naughty happenings of the 17th century

Those naughty British kings in the 17th century got up to all sorts, as documented by Princess Michael of Kent.

On Saturday (January 28) there will be readings from her books at York House, together with those of Antonia Fraser and Samuel Pepys, with many interludes of delightful period music from Mr Simpson’s Little Consort.

The King’s Courtesans is part of the annual StonyWords! Literature Festival.
Doors open at 7pm, and it's showtime half an hour later.

Enjoy a snifter at the York House bar – the proceeds from which go to York House.
