Alan Barnes tops the bill at this week's Storyville Jazz Club at MK11.
Alan will be playing alongside the usual house band at Wednesday's (June 20) Kin Farm show, which goes live from 8.30pm.
'Barnes plays music that was radical 50 years ago – hard, urban post-bop – but he infuses it with so much passion and energy you could believe it was minted on the spot, which is always part of the story with jazz,' said one scribe.
Tickets are £8 and doors open at 7.30pm.
