The splendid Handmade & Vintage Fair returns to Middleton Hall this weekend, and here's what to go rummaging for....

At Total MK we are unashamed vinyl junkies, always on the hunt for a few cases full of long-lost releases to flick through.
It's one of our favourite pastimes and we can easily while away the time with our beaks lost inside a vinyl selection.
Page-turners...
Comics and books, whether rarities or old favourites (long since forgotten) always evoke fine memories.
Christmas stockings always came with an Annual, and if you are lucky you might rediscover long lost page-turners here, or how about those classic Ladybird books?
Dick Whittington and Five Little Kittens were our most cherished...how about you?
Jewellery...
Whether a fab retro piece, a unique antique or an up-cycled delivery, you could spy a winner here. We're silver fiends when it comes to jewellery, and rings are our thing.
If you like it then you should have put a ring on it? Why wait for someone else, splash the cash and treat yourselves here!
Art...
Original art and quirky pieces are always plentiful at the H&V Fair.
Print or original? Bold or subtle? From picture or cleverly re-invigorated furniture piece given a new spark, you'll be impressed by the selection.
Furniture...
And speaking of furniture, there are some real finds to be found at this event – Total MK has a rather wonderful nineteenth century wooden chest sitting pretty in our abode. You can't buy that in your local pile 'em high furniture superstore, can you?!
Quality made and striking looking, we just had to have it!
Unusual Gifts...
Birthday or anniversary ahead? You could buy them a bunch of flowers and have done with it (and there is nowt wrong with a good bloom), but this time, why not seek out one of the many exhibitors who fashion the most amazing goods – gifts to treasure.
From luxury made teddies to glass makers with a certain 'wow' factor.
And most of those showing up at the weekend take commissions too – just ask.
Feeling Hungry?
You'll not get a meal at this event, but you will get marvellously moreish cupcakes and an ice-cream bar with unusual flavours. Temptations too good to resist.
The fellas will be happy too, with a traditional home brewer ready and waiting.
Clothing...
Whether you want fancy dress or want to dress to impress, the Handmade & Vintage Fair has plenty of what you need stored among easily to manoeuvre racks of individual pieces.
Want to buy new? Dressmakers are waiting for your requirements too.

A little bit of this, and quite a lot of that...
The fair is also full of stalls offering kitchenalia and handbags, crocheters, quilt makers, ornaments, and unique tiles, jukeboxes (one day we'll own one!) and much, more, and that's where the real thrill lies – finding something that you never envisaged, but that makes your reach your purse.
