Togmor 30 – A birthday celebration of Milton Keynes’ own renowned folk rockers

MK’s folk rock stalwarts, Togmor will celebrate their 30th anniversary on November 3 with a big bash in the city.

The band, formed in 1988 to do a single pub gig, enjoyed playing so much that they carried on; first treading the boards on the local pub circuit before moving on to larger and more prestigious shows.

These included supporting some major touring artistes such as Fairport Convention, The Oyster Band, Labi Siffre, Show of Hands and Capercaillie to name but a few as well as many festival appearances including Solway, Cromer, Aboras and Glastonbury.

Front man, and founder of the band, Ian Rowe, said ‘we are delighted to have gone the distance and have remained good friends with all previous band members. Togmor 30 will feature previous line ups, some archive material that hasn’t been played for many years and feature previous members and guests that have travelled from as far away as Canada to be there with us’.

Togmor 30 will be at the Chrysalis Theatre on Saturday 3rd November from 7pm. Tickets are £10 and are available by clicking here or from Hollywood Music, Stony Stratford and Rock Hard Music in Wolverton.

All profits are being donated to the Camphill Community.
