Calling art lovers: Fancy adding some individuality or quirkiness (or maybe both) to your mantelpiece?
With the support of professional and amateur artists alike, AgeUK is holding its yearly fundraising exhibition and sale of anonymous postcards from Tuesday (Nov 10) at MK College, Silbury Campus, writes Sarah Davies.
The charity has been on the hunt for artists to create a unique postcard-sized piece of artwork for Postcards Anon, and they've come up trumps with a great parade of pieces.
You can expect to see an array of original artwork that has either been painted, drawn, etched, knitted or collaged. All postcards will be sold for £20 each, and you'll not need us to tell you that is a fraction of the prices typically charged in a gallery.
All profits raised will help AgeUK carry on supporting thousands of older people and their families here in Milton Keynes.
The exhibition will be held over three days at Gallery 200 (MK College) and all contributing artists will be invited to Tuesday's preview evening.
Doors will also be open on Wednesday and Thursday.
