Ever fancied trying your hand at Japanese Raku Kiln Firing? You get your chance this Saturday (JUNE 13), with Hanslope-based artist Diana Tonnison.
As part of the ongoing Bucks Open Studios events, Diana is opening her studio for an outdoor session of pot firing, which will be open to visitors, including accompanied children.
Visitors will be able to glaze a handmade ceramic fish, before watching it being fired.
Once it's cooled, you'll give it a cool scrub up before taking it home and giving it pride of place on your wall.
The whole process will take around 90 minutes, but you'll be able to spend any remaining waiting time taking in an exhibition of Diana's work and enjoying the large garden and fishpond on site.
Tea, cakes and refreshments will be available with proceeds to Willen Hospice.
The studio will be open between 1.30pm and 5pm, weather permitting.
Find the studio at 6 Weavers End, MK19 7PA.
