GREAT ARTS QUEST SHOWCASES CREATIVITY OF MILTON KEYNES PUPILS

The curtain rises on a brand new exhibition at MK Gallery Project Space today (Jan 9).

MK Gallery is one of four chosen by The Princes Foundation for Children & the Arts to deliver the UK-wide arts project Great Arts Quest.

The project introduces primary school children aged between nine and 11 to the visual arts, by partnering them with art establishments and professionals.

Students from Stanton School in Bradville, Jubliee Wood school in Fishermead, Greenley's Junior School in Wolverton and Wavendon Gate Primary School attended the recent photography exhibition byVietnamese-American artist An-My Le.

They worked with artists Sophie Bennett and Alex Evans to experiment with visual art and storytelling, and the results of their creativity are for all to see in the current exhibition.

Soundscapes, poetry, collages and drawings will all take attentions at the show, which remains open to view until the end of the month.

Admission is free.
