SOCIAL PAINT IS READY TO MAKE A SPLASH WITH ART FANS
A new 'alternative night' has launched in Milton Keynes, and this has nothing to do with music.
Social Paint is artistic in an altogether more crafty way, as organiser Julie Ruantenstrauch explained.
“Social Paint is a pop-up social event that takes place at bars, pubs, restaurants, galleries, offices or even in your home,” she told Total MK.
And if your brush strokes are hardly Van Gogh, don't worry – you'll be coached on your way with instruction by a trained artist, helping you to gain confidence as you work.
“We create a non-judgemental, open-minded, non-competitive, relaxed, fun atmosphere,” Julie said.
“There is absolutely no experience required. The aim of Social Paint is to take the intimidation out of art so you feel confident creating with your inner child.”
Social Paint will make a splash this Thursday (Nov 6) at The Slug & Lettuce in the Theatre District, and everyone is welcome.
