Westbury Arts Centre is hosting another banner workshop this Saturday (May 16), with Vinny Stapley heading up the session.
All levels of ability are welcome to participate, from beginners to those of you with advanced textile skills.
As you might have read on Total MK previously, these events are being used to create hundreds of banners to commemorate those people who served in The Great War.
The banners will be used to form an integral part of a procession of Remembrance being held in Campbell Park in July.
Vinny will bring some materials, but if you are able to bring any WWI mementos or photographs relating to your own family members to discuss, that would be great.
Perhaps you might like to integrate copies of any material into the banners you make?
The workshop begins at 10.30am on Saturday and there is no cost involved.
