A new exhibition launching at Stantonbury Gallery on Monday (January 30) showcases the work of Milton Keynes-based creative illustrator and artist Naomi Rose Johnson.
"I enjoy working in a range of art mediums, colour pencil has been a favourite throughout my development as an artist," she says.
"They allow me to capture the colour, texture and detail of my chosen subject. I primarily base my artwork on animals. It is my passion to represent the natural world.
"While studying for my BA illustration degree at University, I realised I could use my work to illustrate animal welfare issues and raise awareness."
The Stantonbury show will run until January 30 and comprises a series of wildlife colour pencil portraits, reflecting the delicate ecosystems and endangered species of the here and now.
