BLETCHLEY PARK: 'COLD WAR' AUTHOR VICTOR MADEIRA IN CONVERSATION

Author Victor Madeira will be in conversation at Bletchley Park on Sunday (April 19) as part of the park's lecture series.

Victor will be talking about his page-turner Britannia and the Bear – The Anglo-Russian Intelligence Wars 1917-1929.

Decades before the Berlin Wall went up, a Cold War had already begun raging. But for Bolshevik Russia, Great Britain – not America – was the enemy.'

It's a story that has been hidden away for nearly a century, and Victor has drawn from more than 60 Russian, British and French archival collections to offer the compelling new narrative, about how the two great powers did battle, openly and in the shadows.

Sunday's event begins at 2pm.
