Author Tess Gerritsen will be in store at Waterstone's intu on Bank Holiday Monday (August 28) signing copies of her new Rizzoli & Isles thriller, 'I Know A Secret'.
Detective Jane Rizzoli and Forensic Pathologist Maura Isles - the crime-solving duo who inspired the smash hit TNT - return to investigate the gruesome staged murder of a horror film producer in the edge-of-your-seat thriller I Know A Secret.
Tess will be in store from 1pm. Pop in, purchase a book and get Tess to scribble her name across it.

The first book that really took your attention
If we're going all the way back to childhood, it would have to be "Nancy Drew and the Hidden Staircase." I remember being intrigued by the shadowy cover, and girl detective Nancy holding a flashlight, peering into the staircase.
As an older reader, I was completely sucked into THE HOBBIT by Tolkien.
The moment you knew you wanted to be an author
After I finished writing my first "book." At age seven.
A book by someone else you wish you had written
There are so many of those! If I had to name just one, it would be THE POISONWOOD BIBLE by Barbara Kingsolver.
How do you take your books - in paper form or digitally
I take them any way I can get them. At home, I prefer paper. While traveling, I prefer digital.
How quickly did you find success
It took about three years, and it was my third manuscript.
Explain the power of a good book
Each good book has its own form of power: to educate, to entertain, to inspire. Great books manage to do all three.
And tell us your favourite word... and why!
"Baby." That's what I call each of my granddaughters, and the word warms my heart.
What would you say to someone to encourage them to pick up your new page-turner?
If you've been following the lives of Jane and Maura, I KNOW A SECRET will finally wrap up the questions that have lingered through the earlier books.
