Art Brut are one of those bands who bring people together, not yet enough people to fill stadiums, but everyone remembers their first Art Brut gig.
Describing themselves as 'the sound of a man shouting over the top of some indie racket', Art Brut are regularly cited as one of the best live acts around and frontman Eddie Argos is a star from the same constellation as Jarvis Cocker.
Over a 15 year career, Eddie has sung (in the loosest since of the word) of obsessive teenage crushes, little brothers, crippling hangovers and the power of a perfect pop song...
Returning after a seven year absence with a new line up and a superb new album 'Wham! Bang! Pow! Let's Rock Out!', this will be Art Brut's third appearance at Bedford Esquires next Friday (May 31).
Hopefully some of you will have followed Eddie’s instructions from his last visit and formed a band, otherwise he is going to be very disappointed.
If that is not enough, providing support will be Ed Borrie, lead singer of bona fide Top of the Pops stars and New Wave of New Wave icons S*M*A*S*H*. Ed will be bringing his new project to Esquires for the very first time.
