Dodobones to play for Forest Folk & Roots near Milton Keynes

DodoBones will be playing under The Forest Folk & Roots banner this evening (June 21) at The College Arms in Cranfield.

DodoBones are an acoustic indie-folk band, with an ironic-pop edge.

Hatching from Hertfordshire in 2009, they have since been attracting attention with raw and heartfelt lyrics, seducing vocals, pulsing and gritty acoustic guitar, double bass and percussion.

The band give powerhouse performances of their own material, along with unusual and clever interpretations of well-known songs.

They have a good sense of humour when it comes to the darkness of life and this comes across in their performances, which are tight and full of passion.
Over the years, DodoBones have built up a wealth of experience, playing live in countless venues, breweries, bars, coffee shops, record shops and pubs across the UK, Ireland, Spain, France, Gibraltar and The Netherlands.

The band is made up of Robbyn Snow on lead vocals, Stephen Patmore on guitar and spoken word, Ian Newman on double bass and Mark Gordon on percussion.

Support will come from Northamptonshire acoustic artist Velvet Engine.

Advance tickets are £10 (£5 for students) and are available direct from The College Arms or online here
Tickets on the door are £12 and £6
