Welsh quintet Those Damn Crows are chomping at the bit to take the stage at this month's Download Festival.
Signed to the cool Earache brand, the band have been rockin' up venues across the UK, and their mission is short and sweet: 'To write great songs, play as many shows as possible and become another successful Welsh export...'
Debut album Murder and the Motive put them ahead of the pack, and some fiery live shows followed. Now the band is gearing up for album two.
Those Damn Crows can't wait to light up the Download stage, as frontman Shane Greenhall told Total MK...
How special is it to be playing Download - the British home of rock and metal?
Huge honour to playing at Download. It’s something the Crows have had on our radar and target list for some time. When we were kids we would hear and see our favourite bands greet the crowd with....Hello Donington!!! Now we get to do the same. INCREDIBLE!!!
Gonna be a f###in special day for us!
What can the Download faithful expect from your set?
The same as we always do at our shows..blood sweat and tears...give 110%, leave everything we have on that stage, and to get that music loving Download crowd worked up into a frenzy!
How will you spend the rest of your time on the site?
Drinking will be heavily involved (after our set) and soaking up that Download atmosphere!
Anyone else on the bill you'll be keen to check out?
Obviously the big hitters... Slash/Myles Kennedy and Def Leppard are a MUST! We are defo gonna catch Clutch, Blackberry Smoke, and Goodbye June too.
What three festival essentials should Download ticket-holders be sure to pack before heading to the site?
Alcohol, Those Damn Crows album (Murder And The Motive), and wellies!
And festivals aside, what's going on with the band for the rest of 2019?
We’ve literally just finished recording our second album and it is currently being mixed and mastered as we speak. Release date later this year!
We also have several headline shows all over the UK and more kick ass festivals to perform at! All ‘Crow Shows’ can be found on our website.... www.thosedamncrows.com
