Wolf Alice have been announced as the official ambassadors for the 2016 Independent Venue Week, taking place between January 25 and 31st.
They take the baton from 2015s campaign leader Frank Turner.
IVW is a national campaign but with a grassroots focus, and in all 120 venues are taking part.
Here in Milton Keynes, The Craufurd Arms are on board, with Mallory Knox (above) playing at the Wolverton venue.
Ely's finest were a smash hit at last summer's Download Festival, and enjoyed their biggest run of headline dates in the UK, last September and October.
This show - in association with Marshall Amplification - is a rare chance to hear material from their Gil Norton produced, top 15 album Asymmetry in truly intimate confines.
Meantime, Wolf Alice (above) are thrilled to be promoting Independent Venue Week: "We are proud to be ambassadors...and ask for people's support so these kind of unique, intimate and sweaty shows continue for everyone to enjoy,”they said.
“Venues that we started off playing along with so many other bands have created some of our funniest memories to date.
