Josh Chandler Morris & Carly Slade are over.
But fans of the folky, Americana smoking union needn't be glum – it's just a name change, not a break-up, that the duo have announced.
“After a couple of months of careful consideration we've decided that the mouthful that is 'Josh Chandler Morris & Carly Slade' is no more,” Josh said.
“We've thrown around loads of ideas from the hilarious to the plain cheesy and have finally settled on 'Hope In High Water'.”
A new EP, their first with the new moniker, will be released early in 2016.
“We feel that the new name represents what we do pretty well, although on the surface our songs can sometimes appear a little bleak, there is always an underlying message of hope and positivity,” Josh added.
