Milton Keynes creative Aria Alagha is a Grammy winner!
The Recording Academy presented Aria with his award for his work as additional producer on the John Lennon penned Mind Games, which took the gong for Best Boxed Or Special Limited Edition Package at the 67th Awards.
Understandably, he was pretty pleased when the certificate arrived - it had been a while in the making.
"I started work on the Mind Games project at Universal Music Recordings around 2022 - 2023 where I was introduced to Simon Hilton from the John Lennon estate and James Swindel of Loud Beings," Aria told Total MK.
"I’m especially proud of the work on this project as it was a metaphysical design challenge.
"My part in the design was specifically in the conception of the Escape To Nutopia online puzzle.
"It is a real honour to have worked with Simon and James on a John Lennon project, particularly one that I feel may have been originally overlooked.
"The entire box set has been created with incredible care, attention to detail and a depth rarely encountered on any catalogue release I’ve seen. And to top it all off we were competing with Charli XCX’s BRAT!"
