Pad Presents, Roar Club and Club Biscuit join forces for a right ol' knees up to round off 2016 as they serve up a long overdue return to Bedford Esquires for Tom Hingley.
Tom was lead singer with ‘Madchester’ band, Inspiral Carpets from 1989 until 2011. His signature vocal sound can be heard on all the ‘glory days’ hits including ‘This is How it Feels’, and ‘Saturn 5’, and helped catapult the band to stardom in the early nineties.
He is still keeping himself busy touring as solo act, with his band The Lovers and also his personal tribute The Kar-Pets...and he's branched into brewing too, with his own bottled beer – The Tom Hingley Bitter.
Tom plays a mixture of his original solo music; an eclectic mix of Folk, Soul, Gospel and Blues with plenty of heart, as well as acoustic renditions of Inspiral classics.
Friday's (Dec 30) acoustic show will be held in Holy Moly’s with some limited seating for a more intimate feel.
